Søren Houmøller (39)
is Managing Director and founder of 1st Mile.
Søren has 15 years experience in bringing new,
clean technologies to the market place. Prior to founding
1st Mile, Søren was director of the venture capital
company EGJ Development. He was responsible for more
than 75 investment case screenings and carried through
successful investments in Stirling
and Amminex.
Earlier in his career, Søren held management
positions in the companies dk-TEKNIK and FORCE Technology
and built up extensive operational experience, including
project management, portfolio management, P&L responsibility
and financial skills.
Søren holds a masters degree in energy engineering
from the Technical University of Denmark, as well as
an Executive MBA from Scandinavian International Management
Institute, SIMI.
Søren has two sons, Jakob (13) and Joakim (8).
He lives in a house in the forest just north of Copenhagen
with his girlfriend Monica, change management consultant
and owner of the uccessful consultancy Acquiro. In his
spare time, Søren plays defender on the Vedbæk
Vipers under water rugby team and enjoys a run in the
forest.

Gitte Videcrantz
|
Gitte Videcrantz (42) is Senior Consultant
with 1st Mile.
Gitte has worked with biofuels since 1990 with focus
on implementation, sales, business development and innovation.
Before joining 1st Mile, Gitte was project manager at
FORCE Technology responsible for European and Danish
R&D projects, and worked as a consultant to a number
of Danish companies.
Earlier, Gitte worked as process engineer for 11 years
with flue gas cleaning at FLS Miljø, at that
time a World leading supplier of boiler systems. She
has international experience from living in Boston,
US, for two years.
Gitte holds a B.Sc. as well as a M.Sc. in chemistry
from the Technical University of Denmark, supplemented
with courses in project management and communication.
Gitte is married to Carsten Videcrantz and has three
children.
